CES 2009: Adrenaline Debuts SlotPhones Headphones

LAS VEGAS — Adrenaline Technologies’ Slot Audio has introduced SlotPhones, a cordless removable memory card headphone line.

Using its proprietary SlotAudio technology, the product features a built-in MP3 player/recorder and Bluetooth receiver, the company said.

The ergonomic, rubber-membrane design molds to a user’s ears and head for comfort, the firm said. The unit features on/off, play/pause, forward/back/shuffle and volume controls.

The power supply is a rechargeable lithium battery, with battery life up to 14 hours with wireless off and up to 13 hours for wireless on. Charge time is said to be three hours, two hours for 90 percent power.

Adrenaline Technologies is lead by industry veteran Bob Borchardt, chairman; Thomas A. Bush, founder and CEO; and president Greg Borchardt.
