City of Industry, Calif. — American Telecom Services announced a multi-handset VoIP cordless phone this week

The E6501 will work with SunRocket’s VoIP service and is expandable up to five handsets. It uses the DECT or 1.9GHz frequency and features a built-in VoIP adapter in the base station.

The base will retail for under $50, while accessory handsets will sell for under $30 with several different retail configurations available, the company said.

The phone features an LCD, handset speaker, intercom between handsets and 10 ring tones.
