Laserline Colors Storage Product Functional

LAS VEGAS - Laserline introduced colorful line extensions to its LaserPak storage offerings at International CES, as well as debuted a new line of molded EVA storage products.

Hot new colors for 2001 in the LaserPak molded plastic wallet line of 20- and 60-capacity CD/DVD portable storage cases are ruby, indigo and sage. These iMac colors join snow and graphite in the line.

Suggested retails are $4.99 for the 20-capacity and $9.99 for the 60-size. Availability is in the first quarter.

Dayton, Ohio-based Laserline, a Mead company, also introduced at the show molded EVA products for storing CDs and DVDs.

The zippered line offers a variety of sizes and styles, including 24-, 48- and 100-capacity wallets; CD24DMEVA DiscMan carrying case with CD storage and functional carrying strap; and a DVD20EVA wallet that holds both a DVD and accompanying jacket in a sleeve.

Suggested retails start at $12.99 for the CD24EVA, $17.99 for the CD48EVA and DVD20EVA, $19.99 for the CD24DMEVA, and $24.99 for the CD100EVA.

All products are scheduled for April availability.
