Archos Garners Top 'Best Of CES' Award At Show

LAS VEGAS — TechTV announced the winners of its third annual Best of CES awards, which recognize and honor the most outstanding new consumer technology products that debuted at International CES this week.

The TechTV-appointed panel of product evaluators selected winners in each category according to their innovative appeal, usability, usefulness and affordability. In addition to the 12 category winners, a single product was honored as "Best of Show."

Here are the winners:

Portable Audio: Samsung, YP-900, $399 (Booth C12016)

Portable Video: Archos, Video AV140, $450 (Booth 35155)

High-End Audio: Spread Sprectrum Technologies, Trinaural Processor, $1,500 (Booth AP2505)

Home Theater & Home Video: Hy-Tek Manufacturing, Tek Panel 300, $6,495 (Booth C5453)

Home Audio: Creative, Creative Prodikeys, $99.99 (Booth C17004)

Photography & Imaging: Adobe Systems, Photoshop Album 1.0, $49 (Booth C14607)

Auto, Marine & RV: Rockford Fosgate, Omnifi, $599 (Booth N828)

Home Automation & Networking: PRISMIQ, MediaPlayer, $250 (Booth S27202)

PDA, Handheld & Mobile Wireless: Sharp Electronics, Zaurus SL-C700, $600-$700 (Booth C12025)

Gaming: Pyramat, Pyramat Interactive, $149.99 (Booth S36237).
