Lowepro Debuts Camera Backpack That's Waterproof

Santa Rosa, Calif. — Lowepro is launching its Dryzone 200, said to be the first waterproof camera backpack. The unit offers sealed seams and provides total water and weather protection. It comes in two color combinations — bright yellow and black and gray and black. Suggested retail is $334.
Pro Roller 3 is a new rolling case for camera systems from Lowepro. It offers a super tough inner casing designed to be shipped. Suggested retail is $479, and the cases come in black.
The company's Road Runner Mini AW is a rolling backpack that is said to be easy to carry and fits inside airline overhead bins. The unit comes in black at a suggested $409 retail.
Other Lowepro products include a line of digital video bags, that range from suggested retails of $17.99 to $34.99; camera pouches, that range from $10.99 to $16.99 suggested retail; and laptop cases, that range from $67 to $84 suggested retail.
Lowepro also is introducing a new international brand identity campaign that will update the company's image for a broad spectrum of photographic, digital, optical and consumer electronics products that include laptops, PDAs and cellphones.
