LAS VEGAS — Treo Engineering is introducing an all-new RSX line of amplifiers and subwoofers, exhibiting at International CES in North Hall booth 2113.
Two models of Treo RSX amplifiers are designed to offer clean power and all the necessary features at budget-friendly prices. The RSX2200 is a bridgeable stereo model rated at 50 watts x 2 RMS. The RSX1500 is a monoblock subwoofer amplifier rated at 500 watts x 1 RMS. Suggested retails are $199 for the RSX2200 and $249 for the RSX1500.
They will be available in 10-inch and 12-inch sizes, both featuring dual 2-ohm or dual 4-ohm voice coils. The subwoofers feature a large diameter motor structure that delivers precision cone control along with the shallow mounting depth required for many challenging applications. Four-layer 2-inch diameter voice coils, innovative poly-paper hybrid cone materials, and advanced construction techniques allow power handling of 400 watts RMS. Suggested retail prices range from $149 to $199.
Treo is also adding three new full-range digital amplifiers to its existing SSX amplifier line. A pair of two-channel amps includes the SSX120.2fd, a bridgeable stereo model rated at 120 watts x 2 RMS, and the SSX220.2fd, a bridgeable stereo model rated at 220 watts x 2 RMS. The SSX100.4fd is a bridgeable four-channel amplifier rated at 100 watts x 4 RMS.
All three new Treo SSX full-range digital amplifiers feature the same classic cosmetics as the eight existing models in the line, but with brand-new full-range digital topology that allows its compact size, according to Treo. Suggested retails range from $449 to $699.
