SUCCESS STORY: RCA Universal Remotes

RCA landed eight models of universal remote controls on the top 10 roster, dominating the category at retail. The best-selling RCU410 four-function universal remote (pictured) controls TV, VCR, cable box, and satellite or DVD auxilary devices. Features include menu keys, universal DBS codes and a sleep timer. RCA’s code-saver feature maintains programmed settings when batteries are changed. It retails for $13.99. All RCA universal remotes are preprogrammed to operate most RCA equipment and set up to operate most other brands through manual product code entry or by using the company’s Code Search feature which searches the code library automatically.
