AVAD, Universal Team For Home Theater Remotes

FT. LAUDERDALE, FLA. — Custom home technology products distributor AVAD has joined with remote control supplier Universal Remote Control to enhance distribution of Universal's product line.
AVAD will act as Universal's supply chain partner, carrying the Home Theater line of universal/learning remotes, which are said to be among the first of their type available to the home theater marketplace.
The partnership is designed to allow Harrison, N.Y.-based Universal to expand its sales efforts to the custom-installation market, while AVAD can deepen its support for installers seeking to become a force in custom home entertainment installation.
