Lenmar Puts A Little Ham Into Its Egg

By TWICE Staff -- TWICE, 4/10/2006

A new battery charger from Lenmar Enterprises is cracked up to be both perfect for traveling and aesthetically pleasing in the home, according to the company.

Called the Egg charger, or Egg-1, the product reflects Lenmar's “lightening up a little and showcasing the brilliance of simplicity in a user-friendly design,” said the company. The charger has the shape, feel and design similar to an actual egg.

The low-cost charger, at about $5.99 to $6.99 suggested retail, is intended as an introductory price point for mass-market retail consumers who haven't yet made the switch from alkaline, but are ready to test the waters, said Lenmar.

The company is offering a value-priced four-pack of 2000 mAh nickel metal-hydride batteries alongside the Egg at $5.99 suggested retail.
