Leggett & Platt To Demo eCoupled Wireless Charging
By Staff -- TWICE, 1/8/2009
LAS VEGAS — Leggett & Platt has partnered with Fulton Innovation to develop applications for Fulton's eCoupled technology, which delivers power through advanced wireless infrastructure.
eCoupled technology, which Fulton has demonstrated at International CES the last few years, uses an inductively coupled circuit to transfer power from surfaces to eCoupled-compatible devices, eliminating the need for power cords and battery chargers. With it, recharging devices can be as simple as setting them down on a pad or flat surface.
At the show, Leggett & Platt will showcase its use of eCoupled technology in automotive, residential and commercial furnishing applications in booth 7916.
