San Diego — Sony announced two new Xplod in-dash CD receivers that bring USB flash-media support to the company’s budget-priced models.

A step down version, model CDX-GT620U, has a front USB input with Quick Browzer and front-panel auxiliary input. It has a flip-down detachable faceplate and is shipping now for approximately $170.

Both models offer three pre-outs; 52 watts x 4 power; MP3, non-DRM AAC and non-DRM WMA playback; and a wireless card remote.
