Richardson Named Funai Senior VP

By Greg Tarr -- TWICE, 5/8/2008

Atlanta— In what looks to be the first in a series of personnel announcements for the new Funai operations that will incorporate Philips- and Magnavox-branded televisions, Todd Richardson has been named Funai senior VP, effective June 1.

Richardson had most recently been named Philips Asia Pacifica Middle East and Africa (APMEA) business unit television marketing VP, after heading up marketing for the Philips U.S. TV business, which is being now being licensed by Royal Philips to Funai.
According to a spokesperons with Philips, Richardson will handle the Philips-branded TV business for Funai from offices in Atlanta. The Magnavox-branded TV business, which Funai is also licensing from Royal Philips as part of the deal, will be handled by a different Funai business unit in New Jersey.
