Here2fix Links Up With Buy.com

NEW YORK -Here2fix, an online third-party provider of product protection plans to retailers, e-tailers and catalog merchants, was chosen by buy.com to provide a warranty-plan program for the online superstore's CE and computer categories effective last month.
The one-year-old Here2fix said it has integrated its "seamless technology" with the e-tailer, enabling the buy.com customer to purchase warranty plans directly on the site's product information page. Buy.com customers in need of a product repair can manage their warranty plans and track their products' repair status with just a few clicks, said Here2fix marketing VP Evan Press.
Here2fix founder/CEO Gidon Wallis added that what makes his company's service better than other online warranty providers is its dynamic mapping technology, which is able to attach warranties to 95 percent of it client's products.
"We map to more products, which means we have more opportunity to sell," said Wallis. Indeed, the company is already attached to fully 90 percent of buy.com's CE products and 85 percent of its computer offerings, Press noted.
