Aamp Enters Vehicle Tracking

By Amy Gilroy -- TWICE, 6/18/2007

Aamp of America is entering the GPS vehicle-tracking market with the release of its Street Eagle VTS this month.

The tracking device offers 24/7 real-time monitoring. It provides updates on a vehicle's location every two minutes. Parents of teenagers may receive reports that chart exact speed, routes and parking time.

The unit allows convenience features such as remote door lock/unlock and ignition immobilization to prevent theft. It has a suggested retail of $425 plus service charges starting at $15.00 per month.

The Street Eagle will be offered to 12-volt specialty retailers, retailer/expediters, mass merchants and online retailers.
