Tripp Lite Introduces 1000VA Into Single Rack Space

Chicago — Tripp Lite has expanded its line of intelligent, line-interactive SmartPro UPS Systems with the introduction of the 700VA and 1000VA units. These slim UPS systems offer everything needed to protect rack mount equipment, while occupying just one rack space.

Customized load management receptacles are featured on most SmartPro Rack mount UPS Systems and work with PowerElert Software to provide remote reboot of network devices or preservation of battery runtime by shutting down non-essential devices during a power failure. The SmartPro 1000 offers a single load management receptacle.

Both UPS Systems feature versatile cabinets that are flexible enough to adapt from rack mount to tower, stack or wall mount applications. Front-panel LEDs alert users to a variety of performance conditions, including battery charge, AC line voltage, UPS load, replace battery and line fault.

New rack mount UPS systems will be available in the first quarter of 2002. The SmartPro model SMART700RM1U has a suggested retail of $459. The SMART1000RM1U carries a $599 suggested retail.
