DBL Hosts Charity Golf Tournament, Vendor Expo

By Staff -- TWICE, 6/2/2008

DBL Distributing hosted its charity golf tournament and vendor expo earlier this season. According to the company, this year's events raised $135,000 for The Jewish Family and Children Services of Greater Phoenix, The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Scottsdale, The United Way and The Magic Johnson Foundation, a division of Samsung's Four Seasons of Hope.

This year's golf event, the DBL Charity Round-Up, was "Western-themed" and held at the Troon North Golf Club, here. More than 130 golfers participated during the day. The evening was capped with a cocktail awards reception hosted by DBL's manufacturer's representatives.

The distributor held its semiannual Vendor Expo the next day at the Four Season Resort at Troon North. The tabletop show was said to feature products from 111 manufacturers as well as a number of hands-on product demonstrations and discussions with manufacturers. Some 550 dealers reportedly attended the expo.
