PlayO Brings 8X Double-Layer DVD-R Discs To Market

City Of Industry, Calif. — Abcron has added 8X double-layer DVD-R discs to its PlayO blank optical media line, including inkjet-printable discs.
The PlayO 8X double-layer DVD+R discs have 8.5GB storage capacity, enough for four hours of DVD-quality video, 16 hours of VHS-quality video or 120 hours of MP3 audio, according to Abcron.
The printable discs are compatible with a wide range of leading inkjet printers.
"These products are ideal for power and professional users," stated Andy Huang, Abcron VP. "The 8X PlayO double-layer DVD+R offers a large 8.5GB storage capacity and the fastest burn of any double-layer disc currently on the market."
Ten packs of the double-layer DVD+R discs retail for $19.99, and printable 10-packs retail for $24.99. Both products are available through select online retailers.
