AVAD Expands Corporate HQ

VAN NUYS, CALIF. — Nationwide custom installation distributor AVAD relocated to an expanded corporate headquarters here just a block from its old facility.
The 40,000-square-foot building incorporates 5,000 square feet of showroom space, training and display areas; a customer lounge; and warehouse space. The building also features a 10,000-square-foot corporate office facility with its own entrance.
AVAD, acquired by Ingram Micro in July 2005, provides just-in-time delivery, training and technical support to installers from the facility, from 37 other locations in the United States, and from a new Toronto facility, AVAD's first in Canada.
