Hydromatic Technologies Debuts Dryer Miser

By Staff -- TWICE, 2/25/2008

Hydromatic Technologies launched a new technology for dryers at the International Buidlers' Show called Dryer Miser.

The company said of the technology: "By heating up a non-toxic fluid in a self-contained system, the dryer produced enough heat to dry clothes significantly faster than traditional dryers, resulting in less energy consumption and reduced energy costs for consumers."

The Dryer Miser will be available to consumers in the fall as an aftermarket kit that can be installed by service technicians.

The company noted in a release that it is currently in discussion with international appliance manufacturers to offer the technology as original equipment in new dryers in the near future.
