BDI To Furnish Samsung Experience

By John Laposky -- TWICE, 7/3/2007

New York — A/V home furniture supplier BDI has agreed to furnish The Samsung Experience in the Time Warner Center with modern home theater furniture and tables.

The 9,000-square-foot consumer electronics showroom will feature the furniture in the various lifestyle vignettes showcasing Samsung’s CE products.

“The Samsung Experience defines a new era of design with its ground breaking and skillful integration of interactive and retail solutions,” said Bill Becker, CEO and design director of BDI. “As a recognized global leader, Samsung could choose to work with any firm or designer in the world, and we’re truly honored that they feel our original, fashion-forward furniture fits their vision."

Among the BDI pieces to be on display are the Avion enclosed cabinet system; the Deploy Max 9640 TV cabinet for larger tabletop flat-panel and rear-projection TVs; the Icon 9429 TV stand for 40-inch to 62-inch panel TVs; and the Vista 9960, a mounting unit for 37- to 55-inch flat panels.

For additional information on BDI’s furniture, go to www.bdiusa.com.
