Four Door Media Hits The Road

By Lisa Johnston -- TWICE, 11/3/2008

Four Door Media, a manufacturer of computer accessories and peripherals, recently introduced its line of Road mice — car-shaped wireless optical mice that are said to be officially licensed by select car makers.

There are several types of Road mice, including Chevrolet Camaro, Corvette Z06, Dodge Charger and Ford Mustang GT. The Camaro and Charger are offered in highway patrol or city police designs.

All of the mice use RF and optical technology with an 800 dpi, and they can be used with Macs and PCs, said the company. Other features include a built-in automatic timer shut-off and an on/off switch for LED headlights.

Dan Cwieka, CEO of Four Door Media, said in a release that the company will offer more makes and models of Road mice in the future.

Suggested retail is $44.95. They are currently available.
