Merkury Charger Powers Up 9 Sony Cells

New York — A Merkury Innovations-brand charger, model MI-LCS, called the universal Sony lithium-ion charger, is said to power up nine different kinds of Sony lithium-ion cells. The unit, which offers AC/DC charging capability, includes 100-240 voltage for worldwide use.

Sold at a suggested $29.99 retail, the Merkury charger includes a 12-24V DC car charger, and offers short-circuit protection that prevents overcharging. It has a dual LED charging indicator light.

The unit is universal, for use with Sony's FM; QM; FP; FF; FC, NPF 550, 750 and 960; NPFT1; NPFR1 and FE1 series of batteries.
