Energizer Charges Ahead With 15-Minute Unit

By Staff -- TWICE, 5/23/2005

The Energizer 15-minute charger does not require proprietary nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) batteries to achieve the 1/4-hour charge, said the company in reporting it is the first to offer a 15-minute charge time on high capacity batteries of up to 2200mAh.

The charger, which comes packed with four rapid-charge 2200mAh AA Energizer NiMH rechargeable batteries, has a suggested retail of $29.99.

Also from Energizer is Compact Charger, said to be ideal for on-the-road storage in digital camera cases, small travel bags and purses. The unit offers a “unique” sliding drawer that opens for charging and closes for compact storage. It comes packed with four 2500mAh AA batteries at $19.99 suggested retail.
