QuietSpot Extends The Shure Mobile Phone Headset Lineup

Niles, Ill. — Shure is introducing its latest in mobile phone accessories, the QuietSpot Inline Headset, which offers sleek design, comfort and high vocal clarity, according to the company.
Among the QuietSpot's features is a sound isolating in-ear earphone that is said to block out 80 percent of background noise, allowing the user to hear or be heard at home and work, or in a noisy situation such as a train or busy street corner.
The VoicePort inline microphone guides sound waves through a special acoustic filter that enhances sound quality, improves intelligibility and reduces susceptibility to wind noise.
The QuietSpot offers flexible, lightweight ear support, providing a soft and reversible situation for the in-ear earphone to provide stability and comfort during long conversations. The support can easily be removed when not in use, said Shure.
The headset comes with a personal fit kit — a series of interchangeable sleeves designed so users can experiment to find the solution that fits and feels most secure and comfortable. These come in small, medium and large sizes, with flex sleeves allowing ease of one-hand placement, while the compressible foam molds to the ear for a personalized fit.
