Vonage Offers Voice Mail-To-Text Service

Holmdel, N.J. — VoIP provider Vonage announced a new service that will transcribe voicemails into text e-mails.

Called “Vonage Text” the service will transcribe up to two minutes of a voicemail message and generate an e-mail with the text of that message in the body of the message. The e-mail will also include an audio file of the message as an attachment.

The service is available now for existing Vonage subscribers. It will cost $0.25 per transcription.
