Berlin — VoIP phone maker Snom will ship a new model in a new line of business phones to dealers this month.
The Snom 820 is a SIP-based corded phone featuring a 3.5-inch color LCD (320 by 240 resolution), an integrated XML browser, wideband technology that provides double the spectrum of standard phones, polyphonic ringtones, three-way conferencing and up to 12 SIP identities.
The 820 also features a duplex speakerphone with amplifier, power over Ethernet, secure VPN, a 250-name/number directory, call block, do not disturb, auto answer, support for URL dialing and a call timer.
It can be connected to a Wi-Fi network via an adapter.
Pricing was not announced.
Snom also said that D&H Distributing would begin offering its line of VoIP phones through its network of value-added resellers, network-service providers and systems integrators.
D&H will pick up the firm's desktop and wireless phones, including the M3 IP DECT model introduced earlier in the year.
