Premier Swing-Out Arm Fits Larger LCD/Plasma Displays

By Staff -- TWICE, 3/13/2006

Premier Mounts has announced a universal LCD/plasma mount, called the AM3, which is a “big-brother” version of the AM2.

The AM3, a universal swing-arm, can accommodate large displays between 40 inches and 61 inches, with weights up to 160 pounds. It follows the line's tradition of sleek industrial design and comes with the same lifetime guarantee as Premier's other LCD mounts, said the company.

The AM3 allows users to tilt the flat-panel display 10 degrees up or down, according to Premier, and the display can be swung 180 degrees left or right and extended up to 26 inches from the wall, to achieve a “perfect” viewing angle.

The mount, at a suggested $499.99 retail, collapses to just 4 inches from the wall. Cables may be routed through the mount's arms, thus providing a clean look to the installation, said Premier. The mount offers total support at all critical mounting points, and comes in a silver finish.
