Snom Adds DECT Repeater To VoIP Phone

By Staff -- TWICE, 7/7/2008

VoIP phone maker Snom will ship a DECT-based repeater for use with its M3 VoIP cordless this summer.

The repeater will double the range of the M3, allowing users to roam up to 328 feet from the base indoors and up to 656 feet outdoors. It features two internal antennas. Up to six repeaters can be tied to a single m3 base station.

It will retail for $159.

The M3 DECT VoIP phone was announced earlier in the year. It can be programmed to work over SIP-based VoIP networks.
