HandEra Introduces High-End Palm OS-Based Handheld

DES MOINES, IOWA — HandEra, formerly TRG Products, is releasing a new high-end Palm OS-based handheld, called the HandEra 330.

The unit claims to have one of the highest resolution screens of any handheld and a large viewing area with a 260 x 340 QVGA display. It also offers a 360 degree rotating screen for a wider view for spreadsheets and reading e-books, as well as a broad choice of font sizes.

The HandEra 330, which is expected to go to retail in the future, has both CompactFlash and Secure Digital slots.

It comes with 8Mb of memory, expandable up to 1GB. The unit will begin shipping this quarter through the the company's Web site, www.handera.com. It retails for $349.
