LAS VEGAS — Aztech is unveiling two additions to its HomePlug line at International CES in the Las Vegas Hilton, booth 67006.
Aztech has updated its 200Mbps HomePlug cable-free networking solution and the latest version, model HD109E, are embedded with its "Simple Connect" button, which is said to allow users to pair more than two adaptors with automated security key generation with the push of a button.
According to a release, users simply need to plug the product into a wall socket and can then use it as a portable network point for streaming data through their home or office. It offers speed up to 200Mbps to accommodate streaming of HD IPTV and VoIP telephony. It can stream data at a distance of up to 200m point-to-point and it features a multicolor Powerline bandwidth indicator.
Also new to the HomePlug line is Aztech's model HD109EP. It also features the Simple Connect button, but its main feature is its built-in AC Pass-thru with Powerline Noise Filtering, which allows users to plug an additional object into the same outlet being used by the HD109EP.
Beyond its HomePlug line, Aztech will also unveil at CES its Ethernet Wireless G++ 4-Port router, model DSL605EW. The product is said to offer high-power wireless G++ speed of up to 125Mbps and detachable antennae.
The company is positioning it as an all-in-one integrated communications solution to replace no-frills routers for home networking, SO/HO and SME environments. The product is designed so that it can be placed horizontally, vertically or mounted on a wall.
Pricing and availability of all of these products will be available at the booth.
