DisplaySearch Conference Slated

By Greg Tarr -- TWICE, 4/9/2007

San Diego — Consumer electronics market research firm DisplaySearch will present its inaugural U.S. TV Supply Chain Conference June 14-15 at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina.

This event will bring together key representatives from the different segments of the TV supply chain, including retailers, TV brands, panel suppliers, TV electronics suppliers, component suppliers and financial analysts to discuss the health of the supply chain, the firm said.

Key issues to be discussed include:

·“Whether the industry will be able to avoid excessive margin compression experienced in Q4 '06;”

·What developments are coming and what challenges, obstacles and opportunities they will provide.

Among the keynote speakers during the event will be Philip Abram, TV product marketing VP for Sony Electronics; Bob Scaglione, Sharp senior VP and group manager for the product and marketing group; and Behrooz Yadegar, Genesis Microchip product development senior VP.

Attendees who register by April 15 will save $300 off the regular conference price, DisplaySearch said. For more information on registration and sponsorship, contact Heather Boudreau at (516) 625-6133 or heather_boudreau@displaysearch.com.
