Mount Makers Launch Distribution Agreement

By Jeff Malester -- TWICE, 1/16/2006

Audio/video mounting solutions makers Vantage Point and Peerless Industries announced earlier at International CES here the official start of a strategic distribution agreement by which the two companies have combined their strengths in the consumer and commercial markets to offer what they consider the strongest portfolio of mounting products, service and support in the industry.

The distribution agreement, initially unveiled last September, leverages the expertise and reputation Santa Fe Springs, Calif.-based Vantage Point brings to the consumer market and the strong foothold and prominence Chicago-based Peerless offers the commercial market.

“The relationship just makes sense,” said Mick Mulcahey, Vantage Point president. “We feel our volume-based pricing and product designs will be helpful to Peerless in its specific markets and we will benefit by filling holes in our product offering with Peerless' extensive product mix.”

“Our professional and retail customers each have very specific and diverse product needs that we are now able to satisfy by offering both mounting brands,” said Mike Campagna, Peerless president.
