Griffin Bows Signal-Boosting iPhone Case

by Lisa Johnston -- TWICE, 4/3/2008

Nashville, Tenn. — iPhone users can boost their signal strength and protect the device at the same time with Griffin Technology’s latest introduction.

The ClearBoost polycarbonate case features a built-in booster antenna that reportedly enables greater coverage and faster downloads.

According to the CE accessory company, the case works by capturing more of the available wireless signals and passing it to the internal iPhone antenna. “It gives iPhone users a more dependable signal and fewer service fluctuations,” said Griffin in a release.

It is currently available for a $29.99 suggested retail, and is scheduled to be the first in a line of antenna-boosting cases.
