iC, Sanus Announce Mounting Additions

NEW YORK — iC, by Chief, and Sanus Systems both announced additions to their mounting lines.
iC added to its line of flat-panel and projector mounting solutions with a new titanium color for all mounts, a new package design, two new mount accessories and added sales support.
The packaging is said to highlight key selling features, package contents and required tools for installation. The packaging, described by the company as graphic-intensive, includes real-world application photos and is multilingual. Two iC package designs serve retailers worldwide: one three-language box including English, French and Spanish, and a second 15-language package.
Engineered for a variety of media devices, iC's component shelf accessory (iCFPAC2) can be integrated with the company's cable channel accessory (iCFPAC3), which conceals cables for a finished look. The cable channel can be cut to the desired length and painted to match the room décor. Pricing was not available at press time. They will begin shipping in March.
iC also said it had enhanced its Web site and launched iC Knowledge College which works to educate retailers on mount options and features, said the company.
Sanus Systems, meanwhile, announced that it is now shipping two new VisionMount side speaker mounts for flat-panel speakers. The LAS1A for large and the XAS1A for extra-large flat-panel TV mounts are designed to attach directly to Sanus VisionMount full-motion wall and ceiling mounts.
Both mounts can extend up to 12 inches horizontally from the TV mount, and a universal mounting bracket makes them compatible with a wide variety of flat-panel speakers. They have built-in wire-management channels.
The LAS1A is compatible with Sanus VisionMount models VMSA, VMAA18, VMAA26, VMCM1, LC1A, LC2A and LRF118. The XAS1A is compatible with the company's VisionMount VMDD26.
Both support speakers up to 20 pounds and are available in black or silver finishes. They have a suggested retail of $109/pair.
