Moms Targeted As Key To Energizer Charger Purchase

St. Louis — Energizer is targeting “moms” with the introduction of its new Easy Charger. This newest member of the Energizer charger line is “made for the family's battery manager — mom,” said the company.
Mom is being targeted because she is concerned with home and gamily safety, she uses and stores her charger in the kitchen, and she leaves her charger plugged into the wall so her family always has batteries ready to go. Charge time is not a big concern for this targeted mom, said the company.
At he same time, mom, said Energizer, is the household “memory keeper,” and decides when and how often digital cameras get used and how often the batteries get changed. The contemporary design and easy function of a charger both play a role in mom's decision making.
The package for the e2 rechargeable nickel metal-hydride product includes charger, four AA 2500 mAh batteries and three interchangeable cover face plates to match kitchen decor.
Noted on the packaging is the unit gets up to 325 digital pictures per charge. The product charges up to four AA or four AAA cells, and charges four AA 2500 mAh batteries in eight hours.
The charger offers automatic shut-off with one-touch safety on/off switch; battery charge status with large easy-to-understand charge-status indicator lights; a “sleek” black, white and silver look; and fold-away pug for ease of storage.
Suggested retail is $21.99, and availability is April.
