Office Depot Adds Mobile Services

DELRAY BEACH, FLA. — Office Depot has begun offering customers a host of mobile shopping services including a store locator, RSS feeds, text-message coupons and offers, and sweepstakes capabilities.

The mobile store-locator feature allows customers to access information such as retail store locations, hours of operation and direct-dial capabilities from their mobile devices.

RSS feeds allow customers to regularly receive Office Depot Web site content, including product information, special offers and pricing. Customers can subscribe by clicking the RSS icon on www.officedepot.com, to begin receiving updates on their computers or mobile phones.

Customers can opt in for text message coupons on their mobile handsets for online and in-store offers based on their location and shopping patterns.

Customers can also enter select Office Depot sweepstakes through a text-message entry process.
