Family Inada's Chair Combines Music, Massage

Staff -- TWICE, 6/3/2002

Family Inada, a Japan-based massage chair maker, is unveiling a new addition to its line of chairs designed for home theater and audio enthusiasts.

The Inada chair, HCP-H9A, combines a built-in acoustic system, which synchronizes melodic tunes with its mimicked human touch.

The chair uses random variations of pressure and motion to stimulate specific bodily points through kneading, tapping and pressing.

The chair also features body-scanning technology capable of delivering personalized massages, according to a person's body size.

The leather chairs, which are available in black, light gray and yellow colors, come with a LCD remote control to handle all operations, headphone and CD. Suggested retails start at $3,500.
