He succeeds Mark Brown, who was named senior VP/global strategic sourcing … BJ's Wholesale Club executive VP/operations Michael T. Wedge was named president/CEO, succeeding 12-year company veteran Jack Nugent, who resigned for personal reasons. His departure follows that of Sam's Club president/CEO Tom Grimm, who retired last month after Wal-Mart CEO Lee Scott labeled the division's performance "disappointing."
