Jobo Enters Digital Frame Market

Gummersbach, Germany – Imaging accessories manufacturer Jobo entered the digital photo frame market today with a pair of models, including one with 1GB of internal memory.

The PDJ701 and PDJ700, will offer a 7-inch, 800 by 480 pixel LCD screen with a 400:1 contrast ratio and slots for the major flash memory card formats.

The frames can display images as thumbnails or slideshows and support copying, deleting, rotating or adding simple effects to images. They can also display a calendar or serve as an alarm clock.

The $179-suggested PDJ701 will feature 1GB of internal memory, and a rechargeable lithium ion battery.

The PDJ700, for a suggested $159, will offer 128MB of internal memory.
