London Named Polaroid's CEO

MINNEAPOLIS — Former Best Buy merchandizing VP Mike London has been named CEO of Polaroid.

According to a company statement, London will focus on growing Polaroid brand globally "and the expansion and profitability of Polaroid's consumer electronics line which includes LCD television, portable DVD players, digital cameras and other related products."

Before joining Polaroid, London held several positions at Best Buy, including merchandizing executive VP, customer centricity executive VP and global sourcing executive VP.

Polaroid is owned by the Petters Group.

• I bought one of you 42 inch TV's. I looked at the tv on Sunday's when my husband was looking at one of the other tv watching the races. If this tv has been run for 100 hours I would be surprised. For the last 3 months- the tv will play a short time and the screeen goes black. I called your customer service line and was told it was the control box and it was going to cost me $250 to fix!!!!- I asked had there been any problems with this adn was told no - there had not . What a LIE!!!!! It is all over the internet that you are having trouble with your TV's and how you are not standing behind your product and taking advantage of people. I want my TV fixed !!!!!!!!!!
