London Named Polaroid's CEO

Former Best Buy merchandizing VP Mike London has been named CEO of Polaroid.

According to a company statement, London will focus on growing Polaroid brand globally "and the expansion and profitability of Polaroid's consumer electronics line which includes LCD television, portable DVD players, digital cameras and other related products."

Before joining Polaroid, London held several positions at Best Buy, including merchandizing executive VP, customer centricity executive VP and global sourcing executive VP.

Polaroid is owned by the Petters Group.
