Maxell Ships Remote For Mini Players

By Staff -- TWICE, 8/22/2005

Maxell is shipping its P-1 remote control and receiver that enables users to connect iPod or iPod Mini players to a home audio system. The unit, at a suggested $34.99 retail, allows users to control all of the players' functionality from across the room.

Available functions include skipping tracks, pausing tracks, returning to tracks, raising and lowering volume and turning the unit on and off.

“The incredible popularity of iPod, MP-3 and other mini players has inspired people to want to enjoy them in a wide range of environments and in all facets of their lives,” said Gordon Tetreault, director of sales and marketing for Maxell accessories products.

“Our engineers designed these products to make these players more flexible and easier to use at home, in the office or on the go,” he said.
