Thomson Intros New Cordless System

By Greg Scoblete -- TWICE, 11/16/2005

New York — Thomson announced a new RCA-branded SO/HO telephony product yesterday that combines a cordless handset with a wireless headset.

The RCA 25110RE3 is a 2.4GHz digital model.

The adjustable headset can be placed over either ear and be worn over the head or behind the ear, depending on user preference. The headset features an on/off switch and volume controls.

The cordless handset supports caller ID/call waiting and a dedicated “Talk” and “Headset” button to switch calls between the handset and headset. Both headset and handset can be charged on the same base simultaneously.

The phone will ship in December for a suggested retail of $199.
