Chief Offering Trio Of New Mounts

Staff -- TWICE, 12/20/2004

Three new mounts are being introduced by Chief Manufacturing.

The FHP small flat-panel ceiling mount, which is VESA-compliant and has non-VESA-compliant interface brackets available for custom solutions of ceiling mount applications, provides smooth pivot and tilt adjustments for a variety of viewing positions, as well as cable management for a more attractive appearance.

The FHP comes complete as a kit including a 4-inch by 4-inch ceiling plate, 23-inch to 42-inch adjustable extension column and cable management cover. It is available in black or silver finish and offers nearly 20 inches of height adjustment and 40-pound weight capacity. Suggested retail is $249.

Chief's PDR dual swing arm wall mount is designed to meet unique installation needs for mounting large flat-panel displays. The mount offers a gravity-centered tilt mechanism that allows for smooth adjustment without tools. The back plate can be recessed into walls, and the display latched in the home position to attain a flush mounting position.

Available in March, the PDR “smoothly and easily” extends out 33 inches and provides easy pitch adjustment by hand. It is compatible with 42-inch, 50-inch and 61-inch displays weighing up to 175 pounds. Suggested retail is $749.

The RPA-U universal projector mount is designed for unplanned installations where the projector type is not known. No assembly is required, with the mount combining select custom features with universal projector compatibility.

The mount has a low-profile design, adding 1 3/4 inches with the mount top and another 3/4-inch for the projector bracket. It also features a lateral shift accessory to further customize the mount when needed. Suggested retail is $199.
