Kodak And Wal-Mart Pair On Recycling

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Kodak and Wal-Mart said they are collaborating on a photo kiosk recycling program. The companies expect the program to recycle 2 million pounds of thermal printer ribbon, spools and cartridges from roughly 4,100 U.S. Wal-Mart and Sam's Clubs. Kodak has changed the way its thermal materials are packaged to decrease weight and package size to further reduce its waste. Kodak would be willing to support other retail partners who are interested in instituting a similar recycling program, a company spokesperson said.
