Ingram Micro Divisions Bow Trainings, Services

Carlsbad, Calif. — VPN Dynamics, an Ingram Micro wholly owned subsidiary, recently announced a lineup of "Live Online" training, certifications and virtual labs available at www.vpndynamics.com. The certifications and courses are contucted in real time and are available now to Ingram Micro solution provider partners in the United States and Canada.

In other news, Ingram Micro's data capture and point-of-sale (POS) division and its services network are now offering several pre- and post-POS professional service offerings to help U.S. channel partners more effectively sell and support POS and automatic identification and data capture retail solutions.

Almo Broadens Imaging Offerings

Philadelphia — Almo added Cannon and Olympus digital imaging products to its line card.

A spokesperson said the move reflects the distributor's effort to "broaden our camera category so that we are a full-line one-stop camera destination." The company already offered digtal imaging products from Panasonic, Samsung and Vivitar.

Petra Expands Line Card

Edmond, Okla. — Petra has added Lenmar Batteries, a selection of TEAC America products, Nikon Sport Optics products and Dual Electronics products to its lineup.

Petra's inventory of TEAC products includes iPod home and personal players, AM/FM receivers, cassette decks, CD players, turn table systems and more.

The distributor's Nikon offerings include rangefinders, binoculars and more.

Finally, Petra's Dual Electronics offerings include HD radios, car audio amplifiers, marine receivers, car speakers, DVD receivers and more.

Wynit Adds Samsung Security Products

North Syracuse, N.Y. — Wynit will distribute Samsung|GVI security products including video surveillance security solutions to the homeland security, institutional and commercial market segments.

Products to be available through Wynit include Samsung Electronics' full line of analog and IP video solutions such as digital video cameras, recorders and a large range of security application flat-screen monitors.

Electrograph, EK3 Team

Hauppauge, N.Y. — Electrograph is partnering with EK3 Technologies to carry its new EK3 Digipost digital signage product. The product is now available. It was originally shown exclusively in the Electrograph booth during InfoComm 08, held in Las Vegas earlier this summer.
