Audio Advice Buys Premier Security

By Staff -- TWICE, 10/22/2007

Audio Advice, the A/V systems integrator based here, has acquired Premier Security, a local firm that installs and services burglar and fire alarm systems; structured cabling and networking; and intercom, phone and central vacuum systems.

“Our acquisition of Premier Security lets us meet homeowners and builders' needs in a comprehensive, unprecedented fashion,” said chairman Leon Shaw. “We are now positioned to deliver complete, high-quality home technology systems incredibly fast.”

Shaw, who founded Audio Advice in 1978, was recently succeeded as president and CEO by Scott Newman, a company investor who joined the board last February.

Audio Advice is a member of the Home Theater Specialists of America buying group.
