Panasonic Pulls Back Curtain On 2008 Cordless Telephones

Panasonic provided early details on two series of cordless phones it plans to introduce at International CES next month.

The DECT-based 9300 series will be the firm's premium line and will feature call blocking, ITAD, night mode call customization, 50 name/number phonebook, caller ID and handset speakerphone.

The KX-TG9341 will ship in March for a suggested $69.95. The company will also offer the KX-TG9371 which offers the same feature set with a rugged, splash and drop resistant exterior. It will be available in April for a suggested $69.95.

The KX-TG9348 for $129 will bundle two standard handsets and one rugged 9371 handset. It will ship in April.

In its entry level line, the company announced the DECT-based KX-TG6311 and a 5.8GHz digital model, the KX-TG4321. Both models will feature caller ID, a 50 name/number phonebook, expandability and handset speakerphones.

The KX-TG4321 system will feature an ITAD and ships in February for a suggested $39.95. The KX-TG6311, also for $39.95, will ship in March.
