Rayovac Pumps Alkaline Batteries

MADISON, WIS. -Looking ahead to the late spring and summer picture-taking season, Rayovac is promoting its Maximum alkaline batteries for weddings, graduations, vacations and other special events.
Consumers instantly receive at checkout a free roll of photo film or photo processing, with a maximum value of $4, when they purchase three Maximum alkaline carded packs or two Maximum alkaline multicard, Clear Value or rechargeable carded packs.
The promotion is delivered on brightly colored displays with redeemable, padded coupons. The displays are available to retailers as modular types, towers or rolling displays.
The promotion ships from April 1 to June 30. The free film coupons expire Aug. 31.
Rayovac is also offering a back-to-school promotion, in which consumers receive a credit-card-size calculator inside each specially marked Maximum alkaline AA carded 16-packs. The promotion is being driven by a variety of in-store displays, including quick strips, tray-packs and mini sidekicks.
The free calculator promotion ships June 1 to July 31, or until supplies last.
