AP Wagner Launches Majap Parts Web Site

By TWICE Staff -- TWICE, 2/23/2009

AP Wagner, a leading distributor of appliance parts and accessories, is offering its extensive inventory direct to consumers via a new Web site at www.apwagner.com.

The site was created to help consumers save money by repairing their old appliances instead of replacing them, the company said.

The site employs multiple search options, simple navigation, a photo library with thousands of images, and an appliance repair forum to help consumers find the right part quickly and easily, the company said.

AP Wagner was created in 1995 through the merger of two regional appliance part distributors, Pennsylvania's Wagner Appliance Parts and New York-based Appliance Parts Distributors. The company, which caters to service appliance dealers, service technicians and the do-it-yourself channel, culls inventory from more than 150 manufacturers in its 200,000 square feet of combined warehouse space.

The Web site's forum was created to help consumers find answers quickly to their appliance repair questions. Access to the forum is free with registration, and users can dialogue with AP Wagner employees, service technicians and fellow do-it-yourselfers.

To begin populating the forum, AP Wagner has launched a “Fill Up Our Forum” contest. New users who post or answer an appliance repair question will be eligible to win a $50 Visa gift card. Three gift cards will be awarded each week through March 6.
