Pentax Launches DSC Instant-Rebate Program

Golden, Colo. — Pentax launched Friday an instant-rebate program on select digital cameras.
The program, which runs now through April 11, offers instant savings ranging from $20 to $50. Consumers who purchase select products during the rebate period will receive instant savings on regular minimum advertised price/estimated retail pricing on the following (prices may vary in stores):
· Optio E70 — $139 before rebate, $20 rebate for $119 after rebate.
· Optio P70 — $199 before rebate, $20 for $179 after rebate.
· Optio W60 — $299 before rebate, $50 rebate for $249 after rebate.
· Pentax K2000 d-SLR kit with DA L 18-55mm lens and AF200FG flash — $599 before rebate, $50 rebate for $549 after rebate.
The instant-rebate program does not require submitting or tracking claims, and does not impose a waiting period of up to eight weeks for a rebate check that needs to be signed and deposited, Pentax said.
